Flapierre is a family leather atelier now run by its third generation. Our grandfather taught that a leather object should be built like a small piece of architecture: load-bearing edges, honest structure, nothing decorative that does not also serve. That principle still governs every wallet, weekender, and writing journal that leaves our workshop.

How every piece is made

We work in small batches — fewer than two hundred pieces per design — and each batch is numbered and recorded. A single artisan carries a piece from the first cut to the final edge, burnishing it by hand and stamping their initials inside the lining next to your monogram. Nothing is outsourced mid-stream, because handing a piece between hands is where character gets lost.
